NEW to St. Therese Parish & School - Early Catholic Family Life (ECFL)

At ECFL, we believe that a child’s first and most important teachers are his or her parents. Our mission is to connect parents with their peers and empower them to raise their children optimally in the Faith. 

ECFL welcomes families with children 0-5 years old. Its four sessions facilitate family interaction, parent peer- connection and education. We are excited to bring this opportunity to our community and hope that you will join us!

FREE Koo Koo Kanga Roo Concert

Sunday, May 12 is Mother’s Day! Treat mom to your little one’s first concert and an outdoor event the whole family will enjoy. This FREE concert takes place, rain or shine, on the lawn of St. Therese school.

Koo Koo Kanga Roo is an American comedic dance-pop duo from Minneapolis, Minnesota, consisting of vocalists Bryan and Neil. Billed as an "interactive dance party duo" and described as "the Beastie Boys meet Sesame Street", Koo Koo Kanga Roo showcase a colorful live show that relies heavily on audience participation, featuring overtly silly sing-along songs that are typically accompanied by their own individual dance move.

PreK Picnic & Storytime with Marsha Chall

St. Therese parish and school welcomes local Children’s author, Marsh Chall for storytime on the front lawn. Marsha will read three books on the OLC center stage and entertain young listeners with her interactive presentation. Bring a your little one, a picnic lunch and a blanket - we will provide the entertainment!

More about the Author…

Born and raised in Minnesota as an only child, Marsha Wilson Chall amused herself in and now sets those dreams in the of lakes, woods, prairie, and beyond (even France). She hopes her books invite the reader to explore new destinations, both outward and inward. 

Chall has published a children’s chapter book and ten picture books, including Pick a PupOne Pup's UpUp North at the Cabin, and Bonaparte. Her books have received numerous awards: an International Reading Association Teacher’s Choice Award, American Booksellers Pick of the Lists, Parents Choice, NAPPA Gold Award, and Smithsonian Notable recognition.

Join us to learn more about our THRIVING preschool program. St. Therese Catholic school offers both half and full day preschool options for next fall. All are welcome for this Saturday morning event.

  • Visit our preschool classrooms and meet our teachers.

  • Every half-hour a preschool overview will be given to parents at 10, 10:30 or 11 a.m.

  • Tours of our preschool spaces (cafeteria, music room, etc.) available.

St Therese Parish is offering Parishioners a complimentary copy of “Advent for Married Couples” from Marriage in Christ. It is a collection of daily Scriptures, prayers, and ideas for married couples to connect in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The Scripture readings are from the Catholic Lectionary.
