+ Life Teen

Born in response to Pope John Paul II’s call for New Evangelization, Life Teen was established in 1985 as a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church. Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.

High School students at St. Therese are invited to grow in relationship with Jesus and the Church. We are honored to create an environment for high school students to pray, discover fellowship, and to provide a spiritual home at St. Therese.

If you are a 9th-12th grader, please contact Katrina Siebels, ksiebels@st-therese.org, to find out more information about opportunities at St. Therese this year.

+ Confirmation

Welcome to the St. Therese Confirmation Program. Our staff is dedicated to helping our youth in their discipleship walk to know the deep love of Jesus and His Church. We will challenge them to discover their God-given gifts and talents, deepen their prayer life, teach them about the 4 Pillars of the Catholic Faith, and affirm their "Baptismal call to full participation in the life of the Church and the mission of Jesus."

Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation. It is a beginning, a personal commitment, and anointing into a life-long journey of discipleship. It is our prayer at St. Therese that our youth will find the love of Christ, feel His mercy, and find the peace that only comes through a life spent with Him. As found in Colossians 3:15, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." We pray that they will find a home and purpose in the Church. We look forward to their energy, ideas, and perspective they have to share with our Church community and in the world.

Our curriculum uses The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth from St. Mary's Press, an understandable and down-to-earth guide to all things Catholic.

The last two years we have teamed up with NET Ministries to help lead our high school youth in their discipleship journey with Christ here on the St. Therese campus. The NET missionaries are each called to share their love for Christ with others. They do this through fun games, fellowship, skits, sharing their personal testimonies, and of course, prayer. All high school youth are invited and encouraged to attend their monthly retreats on our St. Therese campus.

Let’s help the NET Ministry team reach their goal of reaching 100,000 youth this year through their retreats. Here is a glimpse into what a NET retreat is like. Please watch, send your high school youth, and pray…   https://vimeo.com/242630821
