Get Involved

Studies prove that parental involvement is the #1 indicator of a child’s academic achievement.  We invite you to volunteer your time and/or talents to St. Therese School and appreciate your commitment to helping our students. See below for the many opportunities

+ Volunteer in School

Mentor Family Program:  Each new STS family is paired with a mentor family. They help to answer questions, share information and provide a personal welcome to the STS community.

Bravo is designed to present classical and American music to students in grades K-4, enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of music.  There are six sessions presented per school year; materials and training are provided.

Partners in Art is an arts appreciation program created by the Minnesota Institute of Art for grades K-5.  There are seven sessions per school year; materials and training are provided.

+ Committees

School Advisory Committee

The School Advisory Council advises the pastor and principal in matters concerning the school, including policies and procedures.

Parent Teacher Organization

The PTO is a parent volunteer group that serves as a liaison between parents, teachers and administration at St. Therese School.  One of the committee’s key purposes is to help organize volunteer support for a variety of school-wide activities each year. Parents are always welcome to attend the PTO Committee meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of each month (7:30 a.m.)  in the school conference room.

Marketing Committee

The mission of the marketing committee is to build awareness, with the goal to increase enrollment, for our school, child care and preschool program. This team meets monthly to strategize, plan and execute marketing support of upcoming events or key messages for the school.

+ Financial Support

We are grateful for the many things our families and community members do to help us live out our school mission. There are many ways to help support St. Therese School financially. Contact Principal Groebner for more information at 952-261-0603.
