Confirmation at St. Therese
Overview
Welcome to the St. Therese Confirmation Program! We are dedicated to helping your son or daughter grow in their relationship with Jesus and love for His Church as they prepare for this holy sacrament. Through the Confirmation process, we will…
Teach your youth about Christ, His Church, and His sacraments
Lead them to encounter Christ through worship and the sacraments and deepen their relationship with Him
Challenge them to discover their God-given gifts and the vocations to which God calls them
Give them vital tools to deepen their life of prayer
Introduce them to a vision for a full life in Christ
Form them into a community of disciples prepared for Jesus' mission in the world
We pray that through preparation for the reception of Confirmation, your son or daughter will find a home and purpose in the Church as they are conformed to Jesus' heart!
If you have any questions, please contact Chelsie Blustein (cblustein@st-therese.org or 952-261-0566) for more information.

EMBARK – Candidates will be required to take part in EMBARK, our Wednesday night High School Faith Formation program, in order to learn more about the faith and grow in community with their peers.
Meetings will take place Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00.
Candidates are expected to attend at least 2 meetings per month.
Sunday Confirmation Sessions – Once a month, we will hold Confirmation sessions for candidates and their sponsors, where we will discuss topics specific to the sacrament of Confirmation.

They will be held on October 11th, November 8th, December 13th, January 17th, February 14st, March 14th, April 11th, and May date TBD depending on when Confirmation Mass is.
Candidates have a “free pass” to miss one Sunday session.

Retreat – This year, our Confirmation retreat will be overnight at Camp Courage, November 20-21, 2026. This is the first for St. Therese and is designed to give teens more time for prayers, refection, and community. The overnight setting helps students step away from daily distractions and grow closer to God and one another in a safe, structured environment. There will be an additional transportation fee due to the cost of the bus. More information to follow.
Confirmation Interviews – Candidates will be asked to take part a brief (15-minute) Check- In and Final interview with a member of the Faith Formation staff to help them have a touch point in January and reflect on their preparation for Confirmation. These interviews will take place in on January for the check-in interviews and the final interviews on either in April or May. More specific dates are TBD depending on when Confirmation Mass is. (Other dates/times can be arranged if necessary.)
